The New and Improved Rotax Mount System from AeroConversions consists of anodized 6061-T6 bed mount angles utilizing Barry 22001 shock bushings. Download Installation Instructions

For use with Rotax 912-series engines and designed to work with Legacy and B-Model Sonex Aircraft Rotax engine mounts, the AeroConversions Rotax Mount System may be suitable for custom bed-mount applications on other experimental aircraft.

The Rotax Mount System includes machined upper and lower mount angles, Barry 22001-13 green/white hard durometer shock mounts, Barry snubbing washers and AN mounting hardware (engine case bolts are not included).

AeroConversions Control Stick Grip

AeroConversions grips are injection molded into an ergonomic shape using medium durometer polypropylene with a non-slip, comfortable feel. The bolt-together assembly features molded-in threaded brass hardware inserts, and includes two switch plates for use with switches of the customer's choice. Switch plates are indexed to prevent rotation within the assembly, and replacement plates may be ordered separately (Switches not included or sold by AeroConversions).

Stick Grip ID: 1" (for 1" OD stick assemblies - customer may fabricate a bushing for smaller OD sticks).

Available in both 4 inch and 6 inch tailwheel sizes, AeroConversions Machined Tailwheel Assemblies for Sonex Aircraft offer improved durability and ground clearance vs. the standard Sonex welded tailwheel caster assemblies - especially useful for operations out of grass runways! The 4 inch Machined Tailwheel Assembly provides an additional inch of ground clearance, while the 6 inch unit provides an additional 2.5 inches of clearance.

Machined Tailwheel Assemblies are made from machined and black-anodized billet aluminum with a zinc plated steel steering arm. Made for use with the 5/8" diameter Sonex Aircraft titanium tail spring, Machined Tailwheel Assemblies may be suitable for use on other homebuilt aircraft designs.

Machined Tailwheel Assemblies may be purchased with, or without the tailwheel. Provided tailwheels are high-quality, light-weight units.

AeroConversions Oil Separator


New and Improved with Larger Volume and Enhanced Aerobatic Capability!

The AeroConversions Oil Separator is a high-quality welded and powder-coated aluminum assembly designed to save oil vs. direct overboard crankcase breathers in normal flight operations, and is a great way to keep the belly of your aircraft clean! The AeroConversions Oil Separator has provisions for both an overboard vapor breather/dump tube, as well as optional installation of an oil return line to the engine's oil sump, perfect for use with the AeroConversions Machined Oil Sump Plate. In addition, the AeroConversions Oil Separator features an extra-high-volume design and a ball-bearing gravity changeover valve offering enhanced inverted flight performance in entry-level aerobatic aircraft. The AeroConversions Oil Separator allows oil to be retained and returned to the engine during short-duration inverted and negative G maneuvers.

AeroConversions Spinner/Crush Plate Now with Hollow Center!

AeroConversions Spinner/Crush Plate machined from solid 6061-T6 aluminum billet doubles as Crush Plate and Spinner. Great for higher RPM engines that tend to shed traditional sheet metal or fiberglass spinners. Fits AeroVee, Jabiru 2200, and Rotax 912-series Prop Hub Bolt Pattern with 5/16" dia. bolt holes. Also availalable to fit SAE-1 prop hub bolt pattern with 3/8" dia. bolt holes, used on Jabiru 3300, UL Power and many other engines. New hollow-center spinners are approximately half the weight of earlier AeroConversions spinners. Weights: AeroVee/Jabiru 2200/Rotax 912 - 1.1lbs; SAE-1 (Jabiru 3300/UL Power) - 1.3lbs.

Explosion Suppressant Foam (ESF) Cubes

Used in the SubSonex Personal Jet to prevent fuel sloshing, ESF can also be used in other fuel cells. ESF effectively baffles fuel to control surging, mitigates fuel spray in the event of fuel tank rupture from compressive forces, and prevents explosion in the case of spark or electrical arcing. AeroConversions CHT Probes

Tired of ruining your old CHT probes every time you touch your spark plugs? Introducing AeroConversions CHT Probes for Jabiru, AeroVee and other VW-based Engines!

Unlike traditional CHT probes which are installed under spark plugs, AeroConversions CHT probes are made to be attached to cylinder heads independently. For AeroVee, or any other VW head engines, the AeroConversions CHT Probe is screwed into the cylinder head with a small self-tapping screw. For Jabiru Engines, the probes are installed under cylinder head bolts.

AeroConversions CHT Probes are sold in sets of 2 probes, available in either K-Type or J-Type, depending upon your instrumentation's requirements. Thermocouple wire length: 48 inches.

Important Note: AeroConversions CHT Probes are NOT COMPATIBLE with the newest Jabiru engines which have narrow cylinder head fins: Jabiru 2200 serial number 2552 and newer; Jabiru 3300 serial number 960 and newer

These drums run true for greater stopping and holding power, and include cooling fins for consistent braking power during periods of extended braking. Black oxide finish. Bolt-on upgrade.
